The principal problem the world is facing today is COVID-19. However, before that, the biggest worries were Climate Change and Global Warming. These days, most news seems awful, but if you look carefully, there are few things to celebrate about. One of them is the positive impact of COVID-19 on the environment.

According to satellite images from the European Space Agency, air pollution levels have dropped around the world, especially in those areas where the COVID-19 contingency is getting stricter. This is due to reduced carbon dioxide levels by taking thousands of cars out of circulation, reducing economic activity and shutting down production at several factories. The improvement in air quality is not only good news for the planet, but it would also translate into benefits for everyone's health.

Air pollution is not the only thing that has been reduced, recent images show how theVenice canals run cleaner than ever after several days of quarantine. Without a doubt, our planet is the most benefited of the pandemic. This is a great opportunity to reflect on how the impact of COVID-19 can be transcendental for any future environmental measure to face climate change.

Other reasons to stay positive

China, the country where the pandemic started, is already discharging its last patients and very soon life will return to normal. Mexico is still in the initial phase of the contingency and the percentage of cases in the country is low by now. These are the results of taking preventive measures right on time. Therefore, we must stay tuned to the news and follow all the protocols to avoid any contagion. If we follow the appropriate measures, very soon life in Mexico will normalize and all your travel goals can be met.
