# How To Pack Your Suitcase More Efficiently for This Summer

Summer vacation is just around the corner! Most likely, you have already planned where you will travel, what activities you want to do, and what attractions you want to visit. However, have you planned what you are going to pack?
Usually, the travel suitcase is the last thing we think about. Sometimes, we prepare it one night before we travel, or in the worst case, we do it a few hours before we leave! Deciding what to pack is also crucial to planning a trip. In this post, we share strategies for packing efficiently this summer.
### Choose The Right Suitcase
We recommend opting for a rigid suitcase for greater protection of your belongings. We suggest that the size does not exceed the dimensions of hand luggage (55x40x20 cm). The more space we have, the easier it is to pack what we want.
If you already have a suitcase, check that the zippers, wheels, and handles are in good condition for traveling.
### Don't Pack Things "Just in Case"
Choose your outfits based on your itinerary and the weather that awaits you at your destination. As for quantities, you can take as a basis the rule 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for packing:
· 5 sets of socks and underwear
· 4 top garments
· 3 lower garments
· 2 pairs of shoes
· 1 swimsuit or hat
Feel free to adjust the garments according to your needs.
### Economize Space
To fit everything in your suitcase, roll up your clothes. This method also minimizes wrinkles on garments. You can also use small travel organizer bags to compact and organize your clothes by outfit.
### Avoid Accidents and Setbacks
To prevent spills and accidents, carry all your liquids in 100-ml containers packed in hermetically sealed bags. We also recommend investing in a digital luggage scale to weigh your suitcase and ensure it doesn't exceed the allowed weight.
