What is Parque del Jaguar?
Parque del Jaguar is a natural conservation area spanning over 2,900 hectares, featuring ecotourism attractions. The park has close access to the Maya Train Station via the Cancun-Tulum highway and through Mirador Sur.
After entering, go to the nearest ticket window to pay for admission to the park. The rate for nationals is $255 MXN, and for foreigners, $415.37 MXN*. Additionally, children under 12 years of age are exempt from payment, as are senior Mexican residents, among others.
Guide to Touring Parque del Jaguar
Electric cars will take you around the park and make stops at different places you can enjoy. To make the most of your stay, visit the following stops:
1. Museo de la Costa Oriental (East Coast Museum)
Learn about Mayan history and culture at this museum, featuring four rooms and a collection of over 300 authentic artifacts.
2. 360° Viewpoint
Enjoy panoramic views of the Mayan jungle from this impressive viewpoint, which stands more than 25 meters high.
3. Archaeological Zone
A mandatory stop. Delve into the vestiges of the ancient walled city of Tulum and marvel at the architecture of the Mayan temples.
4. Lighthouse Viewpoint
Leaving the archaeological zone, head to the lighthouse structure for a breathtaking view of the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean.
5. Paraiso Beach
Take advantage of the access from the park to go to Paraiso Beach and finish the tour under a palm tree or at a beach club.
