The first edition of the Cinematography and Series International Festival will take place in Playa del Carmen on early November. Since the Riviera Maya Film Festival is no longer an option, this festival brings internationally awarded and acclaimed movies to this cosmopolitan city.
This festival will feature movies that have been nominated or awarded by the Ibero-American cinema Platino Awards sixth edition. Did you know that more than 900 movies are produced each year in Ibero-American countries? Well, the Cinematography and Series International Festival will be projecting this year some excellent picks, and providing two master classes by director Sebastián del Amo, and producer Jorge Levy Fernández.
All screenings are free and open to the public. The festival's opening and the first master class will take place at Playa del Carmen's City Theatre on November 6th at 1 pm. Then, the following days, November 7th through 10th, the 28 de julio park will become an outdoor cinema.
