The Mexican Caribbean is baroque and heterogeneous, it radiates color and fun, but it also enables us to connect with the mysteries and mysticism of everything that is beyond our understanding. Regarding the Day of the Dead, a celebration that takes place in all of Mexico, which is even considered part of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, the Caribbean version in Xcaret is unforgettable. Are you coming? Now it's time to book an accommodation with Happy Address to enjoy Halloween or the Day of the Dead in the Mayan Riviera.
From October 30th until November 2nd, the 14th edition of the Life & Death Festival will take place in Xcaret. Just like every year, a state of Mexico will be the guest of honor, and now it's the time for San Luis PotosÃ. You will get to enjoy its cuisine, and the Xantolo celebration, an original tradition from the Huasteca Potosina region that honors all those loved ones who shuffled off this mortal coil.
There will be guest artists and artisans from San Luis PotosÃ, as well as theater plays and concerts featuring artists from countries like Spain and Peru, dance shows, workshops, exhibitions, and even an All Saints memorial mass. The traditional Mexican altars to the dead won't be missing, of course. Additionally, this year's edition will feature gala concerts by Mexican cumbia band Los Angeles Azules on November 1st and 2nd.
At Happy Address we want you to enjoy the Mexican Caribbean's beauty and culture, that's why we provide the best accommodation options and hospitality services for you. Learn more about Happy Address' vacation apartments in the Mayan Riviera!
