Here is the marathon schedule: - **December 12**: The marathon begins with the Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe.  - **December 16-24**: The period of posada parties! Smash a piñata, drink punch, and enjoy the flare lights. - **December 24**: Christmas Eve, a family celebration with delicious food and gifts. - **December 25**: Christmas Day. Continue the celebration with the recalentado tradition! - **December 28**: The Day of the Holy Innocents. Beware of practical jokes! - **December 31**: The year ends with New Year's Eve. Take the opportunity to throw a big party and celebrate the year you have lived. - **January 1**: Celebrate the New Year with another delicious recalentado, and why not? With more partying! - **January 6**: To end the marathon with a bang, Three Kings Day.
